Osama heading for Iraq?
Indian press is reporting on intercepted Al Qaeda communications that indicate that Bin Laden is going to Iraq to direct the jihad. Can't find any confirmation of this story so far.

Word to the wise: Indian press is unreliable and inflammatory when the story has anything remotely to do with Pakistan. I'm not saying this report is wrong (because, who knows?) But reading between the lines it sounds like deeply unsourced reporting of rumor and speculation as fact. What I mean is, whether or not the facts of this story are true (and again, they might be--who knows?) one thing is certain about this article: It takes every opportunity to matter-of-factly demonize Pakistan. Since that's the default posture of the Indian media toward Pakistan -- whether the topic is Musharraf, or laundry soap -- such reports should be taken with an extra grain of salt.
